The Jurisdiction of Armed Forces and Chaplaincy will be hosting a retreat titled “The Centurin Project” for military veterans, first responders, and active-duty individuals experiencing moral injury. The retreat will be held at the Inn at Grand Glaize in Osage Beach from October 15th to 18th, 2025. Missouri stands out as the state with the highest veteran suicide rate per 100,000, and moral injury is a significant contributing factor to veteran and servicemember suicide. The Centurion Project aims to assist individuals suffering from moral injury in comprehending the concealed impact of their actions and providing a secure environment for emotional and spiritual healing.
